COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 3 Excellent organization by experienced marathoners and volunteers make this a very enjoyable event. It's accessible, well put together, plenty of aid-stations and post-race replenishment (pizza, donuts, beer, soft drinks, etc.) Make this a must-do. The Halloween themed shirts and socks have superb designs too! If you have friends or family watching it is a great park to hang out at and you can see your runner 3x-6x without moving much - great way to hang out for a few hours. | |

COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 Frankenthon 2014 was, just like previous years, well organized, with great swag, post race food and massage. All free. This race is a gem. I always sign up early as it regularly sells out. Flat is probably a misnomer. There are a few challenges, especially later in the milage. | |

COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4 Frankenthon is the first marathon I ever ran and I have been back two additional times. It is not the easiest race as I find myself running on the edge of the trails to avoid paved areas but the people and organizers are great. Since it is three loops you get to pass your friends repeatedly and offer up encouragement. Great race! | |

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 5 Great course for seeing supporters multiple times. Lots of parking and can get out of your car at 6:50 for the 7 start 50 yards away. Nice trail course that is paved most of the way, true running trail. Great after marathon food and atmosphere. Families and community marathoners all together in an area about half the size of a football field. | |
