"Great for my first half marathon experience!" (about: 2013)

First Marathon

Nice run on the trail. I enjoyed it! Food was Pretty good! They did run out of some of the food choices as the later marathoners were rolling in. That was a bummer for them, I'm sure. I ran the half and food was fully stocked as I finished.

"Great race, scenic route, wonderful volunteers" (about: 2013)

This was a very well out together race. The only downside (which wasn't a real downside) is that the parking lot filled up quickly so people were parking in the neighborhoods. Luckily, this was a nice area so it wasn't a concern.

This has been one of my favorite races to date!

Trails are easy on your legs, ample aid stations and plenty of volunteers. Race went as scheduled and local amenities are great.

"Tough run, but great organization." (about: 2013)

The trail is narrow and the half requires two loops which can be mentally tough. It can also be very warm and humid. However, the scenery is excellent and the organization even better. Robby knows how to put on an event!

This a great race with more camaraderie than competition! With large names on the bibs, it was easy to cheer on fellow runners. Coming from 200 miles away, I left with a dozen new friends!
