C. C. from Spokane, WA (5/27/2003)
"Excellent marathon with challenging hills" (about: 2003)

COURSE: 5  ORGANIZATION: 4  FANS: 4

Weather was wonderful (some sun, some wind) and great water and aid stations. While the hills were at the midpoint, they were not all that bad and the support at that point of the race was excellent. I'll be back next year.

s. w. from spokane (5/25/2003)
"Overall a fine race but seems to always have a few" (about: 2003)

COURSE: 3  ORGANIZATION: 2  FANS: 1

Overall a fine race but seems to always have a few dumb mistakes. Marathoners and halfers competing for fluids, mile markers off every year. Should have had this fixed years ago.

A Runner from omak, washington (6/18/2002)
"good race, but tough with the hills" (about: 2002)

COURSE: 4  ORGANIZATION: 3  FANS: 3

Very good course, but with the half marathoners in the way, I had to run around them and used alot of energy doing so. And Im still waiting for the over all results.

A Runner from Moses Lake, WA (6/14/2002)
"Beautiful run, great town" (about: 2002)

COURSE: 5  ORGANIZATION: 5  FANS: 3

This is a great small marathon with generally great organization. The only problem I (and several others) had was that some of the course markings had washed away in the previous night's rain, and I ended up a half mile off course at about mile 23. Still a great experience and will be a yearly event for me.

A Runner from Texas now (4/23/2002)
"Gorgeous but tough" (General Comments)

COURSE: 5  ORGANIZATION: 5  FANS: 3

Weather is unpredictable but this is a nice course especially next to the lake and the park. Fun close knit group of runners. Nice hotels nearby. Definite must do.

A Runner from Montana (6/6/2001)
"Bad hill" (about: 2001)

COURSE: 3  ORGANIZATION: 4  FANS: 3

I have run this course five times now and have decided to find another one. They put two rather long hills on the course a couple of years ago that diminishes the possibility of a sub 3:00 marathon for me there. This year they were way off on the finish times.

A Runner from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho USA (9/20/2000)
