First time ever running a marathon, I was very impressed with every facet of how this was organized and run. Very efficient, professional and fun.

Really enjoyed my marathon on 4/26/2015. Well organized - loved the astroturf in the stadium. Only criticism is that the merge in the park could use better signage to the 19-21 mile section - found it slightly confusing and slowed me almost to a walk so I could verify the route from spectators. Did feel the final to the finish line was a bit long had 26.35 on my Garmin, a friend - 26.4. Would run it again though!!

"Love this event! It gets better every year :)" (about: 2015)

First Marathon
COURSE: 4  ORGANIZATION: 4  FANS: 4

The event improves every year. I liked that Goodwill was at the expo selling sweatshirts.

The crowds and signs were awesome on the half course and the water stops were well-run.

I have done the GCM half 5 times and 10 halfs in all since 2010.

Great course, beautiful weather, nice swag. Volunteers did a good job on the course. I've ran four previous marathons, and this might be my favorite course.

This was my first run ever. I never ran a 5k, 10k, or any other race. This experience was incredible! Well organized, a lot of volunteers, thank you very much for making this a great experience for me. I will be here again next year for the 40th!

Loved the course. Flat and fast with nice mix of scenic neighborhoods and paved trail. Very little time spent on busy roads. I would run this race again without hesitation. Post party was excellent, beer mug with 2 free fills was a nice touch.

"Excellent Course" (about: 2015)

Only negative was that the relay handoff locations were very hard to get to. We missed one b/c our runner simply could not get there by car. We were staying with family that lives on Orchard Rd and could not get off their street.

This race was so well organized - it was a pleasure to take part in this highly involved community race!
