Copenhagen Marathon A Victory For Organisers
(The Copenhagen Post) The men's race was dominated by Kenyan Julius Mutai, whose time of 2 hours, 23 minutes and 54 seconds. His time was three minutes faster than the second-place finisher, Denmark's Torben Juul Nielsen, the winner of last year's event. Eight of the top 10 men's finishers were Danes.

Denmark's Hansen runs 88th marathon this year
(Nando Sports Server) Danish runner Allan Hansen, 54, completed the Copenhagan Marathon on Sunday and unofficially broke the world record for number marathons completed in one year. But he is aiming for 105.
Hansen finished Sunday's marathon in Copenhagen in three hours and 55 minutes. His average time in his previous 87 races this year was 4:01.
