Virginia runner wins Atlantic City Marathon for fourth time
(Press of Atlantic City) John Piggott of Williamsburg, Virginia, was so far ahead of the other runners at the 50th Atlantic City Marathon on Sunday morning that he passed all but one of the half-marathoners, who started at the same time and ran the same course for part of the race.
The 43-year-old Piggott won the 26.2-mile race in 2 hours, 35 minutes, 41 seconds, more than 15 minutes ahead of anyone else.
