Moses Kibet set a new course record at Monday's 2010 Dublin Marathon with a 2:08:58, while Russia's Tatiana Arysaova cut 73 seconds of the women's course record with her 2:26:12 run.

Kenya's Moses Kibit set a personal best and course record at the 31st Dublin Marathon, with a time of 2:08:58, taking the second half in 63 minutes.

Kenyans took 2 of the 3 top men's finishes at Monday's Dublin Marathon with Moses Kibit winning in a new course record of 2:08:58 and Mourice Musyoki taking third. Russia's Tatiana Arysova broke the women's course record as she ran a 2:26:12, 73 seconds better than the previous CR, and 13 minutes better than the 2nd place women's finisher.

   Double Duty for Marathon Man: All Work and All Play (Review)
40 year-old Peter Sewell raised £3,700 for the British Red Cross and received Tesco's Outstanding Fundraiser of the Year. Sewell did so in part by running two marathons in the same week and still made his regular work hours. Considering the two marathons were in two different countries, Ireland (Dublin) and New Your (USA), it was a feat that probably won't soon be repeated.

A 70-year-old Ulsterman put his feet up after completing his 28th Dublin marathon in 4 hours and 59 minutes. Pat O'Loughlin a jeweller from Castlederg jeweller completed his 29th consecutive Dublin marathon while is wife Philomena cheered him on. Pat was the oldest person in Northern Ireland to compete in the gruelling 26.2 mile run.
