		Vulcan Run marathon will sing swan song with this year's race (The Birmingham News) The 2000 edition of the Vulcan Run weekend will be the last to include a marathon. In 2001, Birmingham will be without a marathon as organizers prepare a new marathon to join the city in 2002.
