Men's, women's champs repeat in Wineglass Marathon
(The Ithaca Journal) Chris Byler and marathon rookie Bryan Morseman dashed off the starting line in a fog filled morning around 8 am. The two ran the first 20 miles together, but Byler edged ahead by mile 21 and won by 45 seconds with a time of 2 hours, 27 minutes.

Changes are subtle for Wineglass Marathon
(Ithaca Journal) The October 5th Wineglass Marathon will not have a course change and will continue to run from Bath to Corning along it's traditional course. In order to start the race you will have to set the alarm one hour earlier than last year. The race and relays will start at 8 am versus the traditional 9 am start time.

Masters are the toast of Wineglass Marathon
(Star-Gazette) Led by Steve Wilson who set a new Master's Record of 2:28:56, four of the top nine runners in this year's Wineglass Marathon were over 40 - proving that age does not need to slow down certain runners.
Youngster Shingirai Badza, 28, won the overall title in a time of 2:27:19. Cathy Grote, finished in 2:53:30 giving her 11th place overall and the women's title.
