Pat Benedict, 34, of Sylvania, OH, won the Glass City Marathon in Toledo Sunday in 2:39:36, mostly keeping to his goal of a six minute per mile pace throughout the race, thought the heat started to get to him toward the end. Monica Joyce, 42, took the women's field in 2:08:04, just a few steps ahead of her husband.
