Enoch Nadler thought he had run a half-marathon time fast enough to race at the 2016 U.S. men's olympic marathon qualifying trials. The U.S. Half Marathon Championship time of 1 hour 4 minutes and 37.2 seconds was under the qualifying standards but the race did not serve as a qualifying race.
