CIty of Oaks Marathon draws more than 3,000 runners
(News Leader) More than 3,000 runners competed in the 2nd annual City of Oaks Marathon in Raleigh on Sunday. Near perfect race conditions allowed runners to scale the rolling hills and challenging terrain to compete for $23,000 in prize money. The winner took home $1,300 with a time of 2 hours 21 minutes and 38 seconds.
