Elyria Man, Oberlin Woman Take Second at Elyria Marathon

Alexa Sharp of Oberlin, and David Hathaway of Elyria missed capturing race titles at the Inland Trail Marathon by mere seconds. Hathaway lost to Aurora's Chris Dennision, who posted a 2:48:10; while Sharp lost her chance at the title when she veered off-course, allowing Fairview Park's Liz Wetter to post a 3:17:57.

Two For The Books: Personal Record And Course Record Fall En Route To Marathon Victories

Kyle Bowman of Stowe won the Elyria Inland Trail Marathon ahead of training partner Vince Rucci. Bowman's time of 2 hours 44 minutes and 3 seconds was his personal best for the marathon distance

Inland Trail Marathon is This Weekend

The fifth annual Inland Trail Marathon will take place this weekend near the Murray Ridge School in Elyria Ohio. The marathon and accompanying events kick off at 8 am.
