World's Fastest Marathoner (With a Stroller)

Bartlesville YMCA set to 'Run the Streets' at Route 66 Marathon
(Bartlesville Live) The Bartlesville YMCA is following the example of some of the youth marathon programs of the bigger cities. The YMCA has started a 'Run the Streets' program to challenge youth to run 26.2 miles over an eleven week period culminating with the Route 66 Marathon.

Inaugural Route 66 Quarter Marathon Brings 1400 to Blue Dome District
(Tulsa World) Jerry Faulkner, 27, of Edmond Oklahoma won the inaugural Route 66 Marathon with a time of 35 minutes, and 17 seconds. This was a tune up for Faulkner as he prepares to defend his Route 66 Marathon title from 2008.

Route 66 Marathon runner was healthy, in shape, sister says

Tulsa Man Wins Route 66 Marathon
(Tulsa World) Jerry Faulkner has been focusing on the Route 66 Marathon for months. Faulkner was running well over one-hundred mile weeks leading up to the 26.2 mile. He won the race in 2 hours and 27 minutes despite strong winds and a challenging 23 mile.

Runner dies Sunday at Tulsa World Route 66 Marathon

Norman resident wins Route 66 Marathon
(Tulsa World) Scott Downard of Norman won his debut marathon in 2:30:41, faster than the previous year's finish time, but on a different course. Tommy Manning finished second in 2:35:38.
