Aldrink wins after nearly switching races
(Charlotte Observer) While Mike Aldrink, Columbus, Ohio, was feeling ill and considering switching to the half marathon the long trip to his former state of residence told him otherwise and it proved to be a smart decision. With perfect weather condition Aldrink went on to win in 2:39:58 making this his 8th marathon win in 11 outings in 2007.
