(Blue Ridge Now) The sixth annual Dupont Forest Trail Marathon takes place this Sunday. The scenic course will wind through 10,400 acres of the Dupont Forest. Last year's winner Aaron Saft is racing a 50 kilometer race on Saturday and may be a late entry on the men's side. The 2007 women's winner Anne Lundblad will not defend her title. These situations leave the race title wide open. With great weather and an increase in elite athletes attending the race it could be anyone's race. | ||
