OSU student wins Marshall University Marathon

Chris Paulett pulled off the victory at the Marshall University Marathon with a time of 2 hours 38 minutes and 17 seconds. John Van Steenbergh traveled from GA to finish second in 2 hours 48 minutes and 4 seconds. Holly Baker Wong won the women's marathon with a time of 3 hours 12 minutes and 47 seconds.

Marshall Marathon Record Participation

The race may have been overshadowed nationally by the New York City Marathon, but the Marshall Marathon in Huntington is getting its legs.
The race field increased by 40 percent to more than 850 runners and it's only in its fourth year. There was record participation Sunday and also record times set in both the half and full marathon.
