Ceulemans wins Brussels Marathon
(IAAF.org) More than 7000 athletes gathered at the Brussels Celebration Park facing chilly, windy and wet conditions before the Brussels Marathon. Rik Ceulemans won this year's edition in 2 hours, 19 minutes and 31 seconds. The 36-year old Belgian surprisingly beat pre-race favourite Willy Cheruiyot from Kenya in a race that was heavily affected by the cold and the rain.

Kiptoo Beats Keiyo In Sprint Finish To Win Brussels Marathon
(Associated Press) Jonathan Kiptoo beat Jophat Keiyo in a sprint finish to win the Brussels Marathon in 2 hours, 12 minutes, 17 seconds.

Lost marathon runner still wins
(FOX Sports) John Ekiru Kelai lost nearly a minute in time due to an error by race officials that sent him on the wrong path to the finish line, but still finished first at the Brussels Marathon.
