Texas Marathon Helps Runners Ring In The New Year

The twelfth annual Texas Marathon in Kingwood Texas helped runners ring in the New Year and offer up a continuing memorial to Rick Worley who ran 200 marathons in 159 consecutive weekends.

Texas Marathon Triumph For Trull Trogger Gerry

Gerry Hogg, New Zealand, won the Texas Marathon in Kingwood, Texas on New Year's Day. The four loop 10k course was run on the Greenbelt Trails near Lake Houston. His winning time was 2 hours 47 minutes and 48 seconds.

Texas Marathon Rings in the New Year

The First Marathon of the New Year took place in Greentree Park in Kingwood Texas as the tenth annual Texas Marathon kicked off at 7 am. The men's course record was shattered by Oklahoma City native Kurt Klewin with a time of 2 hours 42 minutes and 31 seconds.
