Galen Rupp ran a season best of 27 minutes and 37 seconds in the IAAF World Championship 10,000 meter on Monday night. Dathan Ritzenhein placed sixth with a personal best of 27 minutes and 22 seconds. Kenenisa Bekele, Ethiopia, finished first and remained unbeaten in the ten-thousand meters for his fourth world title with a time of 26 minutes and 46 seconds.
