Mystic Places Marathon: Chesang again tastes victory
(Hartford Courant) Kenyan runner Reuben Chesang not only ran the Greater Hartford Marathon on Oct. 13, and this past weekend's inaugural Mystic Places Marathon, he won them both. And he wasn't the only one packing two marathons into only a few weeks. Brazilian runner Luiz Carlos Ramos was the runner up in the same two races. Elvira Kolpakova, 29, of Russia won the Baltimore Marathon Oct. 20. She won Mystic Places in 2:47:44 and took home $3,000. | ||
