Engle Wins Trestle Valley YMCA Marathon

Chuck Engle, the Marathonjunkie, won the YMCA Trestle Valley Marathon with a time of 2 hours 44 minutes and 13 seconds. It was Engle's two-hundred and sixth marathon and his ninetieth win.

Gooch gets going in final Trestle Valley Marathon

Jerry Gooch was among five runners who have participated in each of the nine Trestle Valley Marathons in North Dakota. Minot's Harold Pederson won the overall marathon race and has been a yearly participant in the Trestle Valley races for all nine years as well.

Trestle Valley Marathon Back For 9th Year

The ninth annual ING Trestle Valley Marathon will host more than 300 runners and twenty relay teams on a day that will set a record for participation. The challenging and hilly course touts Roadkill Hill as one of the course highlights.

At the Trestle Valley Marathon

Over four hundred runners and walkers braved the cold temps and high winds to run in the 2008 Trestle Valley Marathon. The men`s full marathon winner was defending champion Greg Worley in a time of 2:42. Meg Grindall won the women`s race in 3:18. Both Worley and Grindall set new course records.

Worley Breaks ING Trestle Valley Marathon Records

Greg Worley finished in 2 hours 45 minutes 12 seconds. The previous record was 2:56.59 set by Kirt Goetzke in 2006.
