Mark Villwock Of Grand Blanc Places Second In Martian Marathon

Mark Villwock took home second place in the Martian Marathon in 2 hours 48 minutes and 55 seconds. Chuck Engle of Dublin Ohio won the event with a time of 2 hours 39 minutes and 30 seconds.

Copley Mother Runs to First Place in Marathon

Michele Sollenberger completed the Chicago Marathon swearing it would be her last, but found herself qualifying for the Boston Marathon. About two years later, Sollenberger is the humble first-place female winner of her fifth marathon, the Martian Marathon. Now, she is hooked and looking into triathlons as well.

Marathon Madness on Saturday at the fourth annual Mizuno Martian Marathon

Saturday morning at 8, the fourth annual Mizuno Martian Marathon will invade the streets of Northville and paths of Hines Drive. Last year, almost 800 runners competed in the full and half marathons. Another 200 signed up to run part of the course as training for other spring marathons.
