McHugh finished the 26.2 mile race in 4 hours 36 minutes and 52 seconds to set the new marathon world record for women in the 80 year old category. McHugh took 13 minutes off the record of Helen Klein, who ran the New York City Marathon in four hours, 49 minutes and 52 seconds in 2004. | ||
