If you need lots of spectators, then this isn't your marathon, but it sure was flat, fast and pretty. Those cheer sections on the course did a great job, and there seemed to be plenty of water, gatorade and gels. Very nice post race food and festival, was quite enjoyable even for my 4 year old!

The Tallahassee Half Marathon was the first that I have run and it was a great experience. It was an excellent course for a first-timer due to the flat course and easy to manage logistics of getting there and getting in line on race day. I will definitely run it again!

The Tallahassee Marathon is a runner's dream. A very flat course, well organized and supported along the way with many water stops/porta-potties, and police to stop traffic. With ideal weather and something less than 1500 runners, the times are very fast. Ending at the FSU track stadium, having your name announced as you entered, was very cool at the end. I'd do this one again if my schedule allows it.

This marathon is very well organized and the workers are the most friendly you'l find. If you are looking for a flat and fast marathon for a BQ this would be one to consider. Limited on spectators. I've run 28 marathons including 11 Boston's. Who knows I might put this one on my calendar again in the future.

I've run the half-marathon here 5 times now and enjoy its size ('just right' with no parking or traffic hassles), organization, friendly feel, much of the course along a trailway, and the fairly flat course which allows for fast times. The finish in the stadium is very nicely done and allows one to hang out enjoyably afterwards.

The weather was absolutely perfect. Know you can't control that, but just right. Flat, fast course with a great organization and support made it a super event. I plan to be back next year! Thanks!

This was my 29th full marathon. LOVED the course, which is closed to vehicle traffic. Nice host hotel, great expo, cheerful volunteers, even the *weather* was nice. Highly recommended

Ran the 1/2 - The best things about this run are, if you are from Tallahassee, sleeping in your own bed, running with your buddies, and no stress parking. As an out-of-towner, you should only come here as a serious marathoner looking for a PR. Sorry, Tally. We have many other runs throughout the year that really showcase the beauty of our village, but this ain't one of 'em. We have great people, and possibly the greatest running community EVER! No joke, the older crew is extremely accomplished, and are always willing to mentor less experienced runners. If you are a runner in this town, you are part of a family. I think that love shines through the ugly course at this run, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't change the course. It's nasty (sewer treatment plant and shopping carts in retention ponds nasty) but I've broken my PR here twice. Maybe you run faster to get it over with...
