Wild and scenic mountain marathon! Point-to-point course running down the Cache La Poudre River Canyon during the height of fall color in the Rocky Mountains. Course is on paved road through the canyons.

"Incredible views in the Rocky Mountains" (about: 2019)

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 2

This race was run on 22 September 2019 for the first time. It indicates that the first 5 miles are challenging and this is true but the views you get are worth it and the remainder is basically downhill.

This is a green event so they take care to not trash the course. Wonderful volunteers along the course and the best marathon shirt -not covered with sponsor names everywhere.

Well done on the race organizers part. I am hoping this race continues and does not get too big. I want to race it every fall.
