 "Scenic course but a tough finish" (about: 2014)

COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 4 FANS: 3 There were plenty of pros and cons to this inaugural marathon. PROS : scenic course, great cause, fantastic party afterwards, wonderful awards, nice shirts, good organization. CONS : lacking porta johns at start, pre-race dinner had meats and lacked pastas. The first 20 miles was very fast, but those last 6.2 was very tough due to all the hills. I would recommend this race to others, but be aware of the hills. | |

 "Beautiful Course" (about: 2014)

COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 3 I ran the inaugural race in 2014. The scenery was gorgeous, the weather was beautiful, and the course was generally pretty fast. There were some hills at the end, and the finish had a great band and a wonderful lunch. I absolutely loved this race and would recommend it to anyone. |
