B. from PA (10/3/2014) "marathon nightmare" (about: 2014) 11-50 previous marathons \| 1 Tri Town Community Marathon COURSE: 1 ORGANIZATION: 1 FANS: 1 This course was so poorly marked that we all ran extra. The only support was from other runners Water stops were self serve and sometimes empty. The shirt was a 'leftover' from a previous 5K and did not even mention 'Marathon'. I registered at $70 but could have purchased it a lot cheaper one day before the race. Not enough port-a-johns . I saw only 1 on the course and only 3 at the startline. Course was flat and the medal was nice - those were only positives
Jason Phillips from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (9/30/2014) "For your own health and safety don't run this race" (about: 2014) 11-50 previous marathons \| 1 Tri Town Community Marathon COURSE: 1 ORGANIZATION: 1 FANS: 1 DO NOT RUN THIS RACE! Not only is this race dangerous due to its lack of medical staff it was so lacking that I would have assumed it was put on by someone with no experience with endurance sports. Water stations were unmanned and several ran out of fluids! You could have been dead on the course and would have been more likely to have been discovered by a random homeowner than race affiliate. The course was poorly marked and where it was marked there was often conflicting signage. No exaggeration, over 50% of the other runners I spoke with ran extra distance after running off of the course. So many lies in their advertising too! There were maybe 15 spectators over the entire race. The t-shirt, a cotton one from a DIFFERENT race. Also, the race day registration price was less than what I paid when I registered 2 months earlier. I'd go on, however, I am limited to 1,000 words.

(about: 2014) 11-50 previous marathons \| 1 Tri Town Community Marathon COURSE: 1 ORGANIZATION: 1 FANS: 1 This marathon was the most unorganized race I have ever run. There were 3 portajohns at the start and only one on the course. Water stations were few and far between, Some had watered down gatorade but most did not. It was almost 80 degrees.one water station was self serve and ran out of water and cups.The worst part of the race was that the couse was so poorly marked that runners were confused and didnt know where to go. some runners ran extra and some cut off sections due to poor signage. Volunteers either knew nothing or sent runners in the wrond direction. There were no timing mats anywhere but the finish so I dont see how this could be a Boston qualifier. No way to track if runners did the whole course. There were no first aid stations, god forbid if you were to need something!No spectators, no shade ,a t-shirt from a previous race (not a marathon) Race director was in denial!It is not the runners responsiblity to figure out where to go. We were busy running 26.2 miles! Stay away from this race. Run in the other direction

G. from Goshen,IN (9/29/2014) "Nice small race" (about: 2014) 50+ previous marathons \| 1 Tri Town Community Marathon COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 4 FANS: 3 This is a nice small race in North West Indiana. The race was mostly on a real nice bike trail with some spurs through subdivisions. The cops and volunteers did an awesome job.
