"Hardest, most beautiful race I" (about: 2024)

This was a destination race for me. I wanted to run through the Scottish Highlands. I didn't care about time. I stopped many many timne to take pictures. The terrain was rough and rocky with steep inclines and decents. I had the wrong shoes and fell multiple times. It was the hardest marathon I've ever run, but the views were worth it. It was 50 degrees and rained most of the day. I don't know if I would do it again, but I'm glad I did it the one time. If you want to see the Highlands, this is a great way to do it.
