COURSE: 5 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4

One of my most enjoyable and thrilling running experiences ever. The course is interesting with slight ups and downs, but it is not challenging - there is some singletrack but much of the course is dirt paths with good footing. The snow in the 2015 event made the experience beautiful and wintry but not treacherous. The trails are well-marked with mile markers, but it is a trail race, so don't expect every meter to be labeled. You can expect great aid stations with excited supporters. The start/finish line was great (get there early so you can park in the start/finish lot!) The organizers do this event right - nice shirt, very cool medal, and beautiful awards. Do this race, even if your friends think the idea is crazy.
