For an inaugural event, this was a well-organized affair. Race day packet pick up option was nice for an out-of-towner coming in late on the prior evening (& appropriate for the relatively small crowd). The volunteers were passionate about the benefitting cause and the runners who were participating in their event. The trail markers bearing the likenesses of youngsters who are part of Orphan Hope were especially inspiring. The trail was very well marked. The post race food (BBQ of course) was exceptionally good & plentiful.

This was the first year that this race was held and it was well organized. Each aid station had plenty of volunteers with Gatorade, Water, Chips. M&M's, etc.
