Wow, what an event: this was perfect winter running - and the packed snow and great sunshine made a cool day for all Valentine's participants.

The friendly crowd and runners of all ages and distances made the start really fun.

Thanks to all of the organizers' efforts, the snacks were perfect, the trail was great to follow, and the gong halfway through each lap was perfect!!!

Anyone in the vicinity of NYC will love this run, and anyone wanting to visit a super nice, no-frills and naturally beautiful park for a nice run will enjoy Van Cortlandt Park.
