"Scenic, hilly, worth doing." (about: 2001)

COURSE: 3 ORGANIZATION: 4 FANS: 2

While the course is a net downhill, the first 12 miles have you constantly going uphill and downhill before finally getting down to a relatively flat 2nd half. It is beautiful and well organized but few competitors and few spectators which is the type of race I like. If you are tired of the big city grind marathons, give it a try. Helps several worthy causes.
