The marathon was on April 30th of 2000.
It is basically 13 miles uphill on a logging trail and back. It is asphalt all the way. For me it was a training run exactly one month before the Rock and Roll Marathon. Beautiful race, nice dry weather, millions of trees, no traffic, no people, just you and the road. Good organization! and lots of food (awesome soup!) If you go to Ukiah stay in the Holiday Inn which is 200 yards from the starting line.
