Andersen Marathons COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 4 FANS: 4 A nice course, pretty fast, in Odense. Lots of people cheering for you and bands playing. Only one big minus: you get water in small plastic cups, which are impossible to drink from while you run.

Andersen Marathon COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 5 FANS: 4 it was a long way to come for a marathon, but I'm so glad that I made the effort. It was a very enjoyable experience from the expo until the actual race. There were plenty of drinks and crowd support, and a mix of bands (not sure about thrash metal though). It was a nice and pleasant two-lapper, and quite flat as well. Overall, it was a great marathon, and I will definitely be back again in the future.

The route was beautiful and interesting and we passed the local brewery. The helpers out on the roads were full of encouragement and very professional. Marathon well worth travelling a long way for.

Andersen Marathons COURSE: 4 ORGANIZATION: 4 FANS: 3 Very fast route and totally well organized marathon where you run around all over in Odense. I surely will be back next year (3rd time).

In spite of the fact that is a new marathon (the 4th), the organizers have managed to create a fine race with a fast and nice course. In particular I appreciate all the officials who act in a very professional manner.

I will hope it is going to grow big with in the next couple of years. This year (2000) was the first year it was there with 2100 runners. The starting and finish area and the whole race course was perfekt organised. A new race whereby I expekt a lot in the future.
