Thank you, Rob, and the folks in Paradise Michigan for organizing such a nice race. Very small, very few spectators, but who cares. It appeared that all the businesses in town pitched in to help, Rob (race dir.) was awesome, plenty of food/water at stations and a portapotty at the right place. I will be back for sure. Flat, fast, beautiful, well-run. If only Rob could better manage the mosquito population:)

"Fun Small Race" (about: 2013)

This race was very well-organized, especially for it being the first year. The course was very well-marked and there were lots of enthusiastic volunteers, plenty of aid stations and nice scenery along much of the course. Paradise is a very small town so there aren't many spectators, but traffic wasn't much of an issue. Be sure to bring bug spray because the mosquitos are pretty bad this time of year, although they weren't much of a bother while I was actually running, just while standing around at the start and finish. It's a very flat course, mostly an out and back. A great small race and there's a lot to see in the surrounding area such as Tahquamenon Falls and the Shipwreck museum!
