It seems that either you love or you hate this marathon. It is perfect for a first-time marathoner or for doing your personal best. There are so few people that they call out your name and cheer you on as you pass the half-way point. My only criticism is that I felt that there was less nutritional support than there generally is in larger marathons. In spite of this, I really enjoyed running this marathon. The key attractions of this marathon are its small size, the flat course, lots of shade, the informality (you can register the day of the race), convenience of parking, the relatively low entry fee, and the large beautiful finisher's medal.
