"A most magnificent marathon" (about: 2004)

This was a very enjoyable marathon which was both flat and scenic and had good crowd support during much of the race. One can see the finishing point from the start line and throughout much of the race. This marathon attracts between 5000 and 6000 runners each year, so there is plenty of room to run. This race was also live on French TV! The race organization was good and there were plenty of drink stations. It is a race I will certainly do again.

This is a beautiful race in which you can see the finishing point from the start line and throughout much of the race. The course is beautiful and flat and, although rural, there are many spectators lining the course. There were 4378 finishers this year and if you like a marathon that is not overcrowded then this one is the one for you. I will certainly take part in this race again!

Excellent experience! Great organization including Champion Chip and well stocked water and sweets stations. One of the most scenic courses you will find. The castle at Mt. St. Michel acts like a magnet and encourages runners to keep moving as you see it getting closer and closer. Half of the course is run in the middle of wheat fields with sheep and dairy cows cheering on.
