Vancouver is a running paradise and there are a million places to run, but I will just mention 3. Stanley Park is the best known and is a mix of a sea-wall path that loops the entire "super natural" park and a bunch of trails throughout. Truly the best place to run in the middle of a downtown city core. The next run is the University of British Columbia Endownment lands (I think I spelt that correctly)- all forest, excellent paths, absolutely challenging, surreal and breathtaking a great place to smell clean air! Last but not least there is the Seymour Demonstration Forest, this is on the north shore and is truly remarkable as you can run forever and ever in the woods, up trails, down trails to snow covered caps and on and on and on and never see a soul. It's a good idea to go with a friend and take a little running-pack with food, water, warm clothing etc... because you will not want to stop. Have fun and remeber to stretch, stretch and stretch!
