Continuous hills is the feature on this run. For a variation of this route select 'find a route' on usatf.org/routes and type 'med center' in the location box. I start at the intersection of Medical drive and Horizon Hill which is the first traffic light coming from I-10. If you are feeling a little loopy, head up Medical (I try not to go in this direction because there is a long steep hill which is daunting without a proper warmup)but for a better warm up, head down Horizon toward Callaghan (hill here too but it comes after a descent and is nowhere near as steep as Medical). Turn right on Callaghan, left on Fredericksburg, right on Woodlake, left on Moss Oak and right on the I-410 frontage road (You may want to hop over the guard rail and run in the drainage gutter if it's heavy traffic. Continue along 410 past the DMV then turn off at Joe's Crab Shack. I like to run through the courtyard under the Corporate Square building then turn right on summit, right on Cambray, Left on Newcome, right on Merkens across Wurzbach, right on Desilu, then left on Danny Kaye. At the end of this street turn left on Oakdell way then right on Hamilton Wolfe to Fredericksburg. Right on Fredericksburg, left on Medical and you are done (take it easy down medical as this is the downhill direction and the impact can mess up your knees.
