A very simple, easy run. Start anywhere on the National Mall-I like to start at the Washhington Monument. Run along the path toward the Capitol Building, making sure to dodge the tourists! Follow the path in front of the Capitol and sweep back around. You will then be facing the monument again. Pass up all of the Smithsonian Museums and head toward the Lincoln Memorial. You can watch soccer and lacrosse players, pickup football games, kite flyers, geese, the reflecting pool and the beautiful Washington monuments and memorials. Approximately 5 miles. |
