| Description: | I ran the 2006 Army Ten Miler for the first time. It was the longest I had ever run in my life. It was relatively flat, and the weather was perfect. Being from Texas, I was concerned that I might be too cold, but it was no problem. I highly recommend this race for a first time longer distance. It helped me realize that I am capable of a great many things. Just like other military functions, be prepared to adhere to some unusual rules that are more an inconvenience than a real problem. Time 1:50! |
