There was another discription but it failed to really discribe this trail. This trail is asphalt and goes from the Sam Houston Parkway to Highway 6. This is a total of 8.2 miles. In addition there is a 2.2 mile loop. Since it goes under bridges the ten miles never crosses traffic. Three are water fountains and two restrooms. There are flat stretches and places where it runs down close to the water then up the bank. Much of it you can't see houses and are running through the woods.
