While in Honolulu, Hawaii, train on the actual course of the annual marathon. It's the killer stetch that runners take on twice, at 11-16 miles then again at 17-22 miles. It starts at Kahala Shopping Mall and goes to the entryway of the suburb of Hawaii Kai. Basically it's the stretch of highway along beachfront properties at 20+ where most average runners "hit the wall." Luckily, this segment of the marathon course is flat. |
