| Description: | Simply one of the best races I've ever been in. I've done 27 marathons including this one 3 times. You gotta love downhills, which I do, because my quads don't seem to mind. Just lucky I guess. Not just because it's my PR, but because the race organizers go the extra mile so you will feel like you really are important to them & the success of the race. Run through some great scenery and cute little blue colar towns along the way. But save something for the last 3 miles as the roll up quite a bit to land you at the BIGTIME finish area in downtown Scranton. Great, Sunday night post race party at the ski resort doesn't hurt either! Don't worry, Columbus Day is the next day. You have off from work, right? |
