| Description: | The City of Tree's marathon was my first. But, I'll be back next year. The race was well organized and the whole city seemed to be supporting the runners as they weaved through city streets. Police officer's got out of their vehicles to offer encouragement. Citizens posted at intersections were not just stopping cars, but were cheering and handing out stickers. Boise is beautiful. My husband and I both ran and agree that this was a great way to see a new city. The finish line was just steps from the hotel where staff had hot soup, bread and donuts. Everyone there was friendly and willing to answer questions. We had a great time. My thanks to the coordinators and citizens of Boise. |
