| Description: | This paved trail begins at Discovery Park, just north of the city and continues 20 plus miles into the foothills around Folsom Lake. This is a popular scenic training route for beginners and serious distance runners alike. The trail is marked every half mile and has water and restroom facilities at regular intervals. One of the more popular entry points is at CSU Sacramento at Guy West Bridge. Please be aware that this trail can be very busy at some stretches as it is also used by cyclists and bladers so keep to the right and yield to cyclists. |
