Start by the Delaware canal towpath and continue north for 1/2 mile where the Mill parking lot begins. Cross the parking lot onto the road for only 1/4 mile, bear right and continue straight for another 1/4. Along the way you will experience scenic outlooks onto the Delaware River, and share the road with some cyclists and horse drawn carriages. You will make another right just over the bridge and experience a small incline, the road will fork and bear right, continuing on this road till the end, @ 3 miles in length. Make a left, crossing over an old covered bridge and begin your ascent up a hill @ 2 miles in length into the village of Rosemont NJ - bear left at the stop sign [rosemont cafe on the corner is a wonderful gem] and continue for 1/3 mile, make another left, and enjoy the scenic downhill back to the start, with horses and smells of country life.
