| Description: | I can't believe no one took the time to mention this gem of a location. Come on Austin runners! The trail runs along Town Lake in downtown Austin. The scenery is spectacular year-round. It is mainly a dirt trail with sections of pavement. The majority of the trail is flat, and what hills do exist are of low grade. There are several turnaround points offering loops of 2.9, 4.1, 4.5, 6.9, and 10.1 miles. This is a must see for any Austin runner or visitor. |
