If you have read about my other great run than will know that I live by State Route 3. From my house this run is a refreshing two miles each way. First, from our house there is a steady 1/4 mile descent to get you warmed up and then there is a tedious 3/4 mile of uphill grind. At the 1 mi. mark you have a 3/4 mile descent on the other side of the hill you just ran up and it gets the juices flowing. That makes it fairly easy to get to the bridge, but coming back
you get to climb that 3/4 mile only to run down the other side which is all downhill until the last 1/4 mile in which you pound up the hill to a stop sign and that is the end of the run. On a cool day it is very refreshing but can be grueling on a hot sunny day. It is a course best run before the sun comes up.
